"We had a condo insured with Kay Patel and State Fatm. I had the condo for sale, and the insurance policy was about to renew so I called and renewed it with a credit card. The condo sold few months later, so I requested to cancel the policy and obtain a refund. They explained that they could not credit my card and would need to issue me a check in the mail. The condo was in my mother’s name so they said they would have to make it out to her. Since the condo was sold, I provided my address (my mother is now in a home, 96 yrs old). I was told 7-8 business days. It’s been 13 business days and I have no check. I’ve left both emails and phone calls with Kay Patel with no response. Next call I make will be with better business bureau. Would not recommend this agent at all."

"I had a great experience working with Teena who helped me with some ever changing requirements from Real Page regarding renter's insurance. As a renter I was required to obtain and submit renter's insurance, however my paperwork was repeatedly rejected by the verification third party vendor. (If you rent, then are you probably familiar with this process). The policy was rejected multiple times with very little information as to what to change from Real Page. Teena worked with me to modify the resident address, certificate holder's name, and other fields until it was successfully accepted! I felt bad having to contact Teena multiple times with these changes, but she was always incredibly pleasant and jovial. We also had a great conversation about bbq restaurants (which I know is a very Texas thing to say...). I truly appreciate her patience and assistance! Highly recommend. (I hope she gets a raise State Farm... just saying!)"
